Vicie Annette Allison, (known to close friends and family as Annette) was a teacher/professor for over 30 years. Most of this time was spent as a reading specialist in Nashville,TN, Metro Public Schools, and at Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN.
In her heart and mind, there was also a continuous desire to write in both the children literature genre, and in romantic fiction, as well as historical fiction.
A Dinosaur in the Woods is her first children’s book and the winner of a Purple Dragonfly Award for Best New Illustrator, Courtney Allison Crawford, the author’s daughter.
Her second book, Finding Faithful, is a romance in the Christian genre, building to an outcome of security, faithfulness, and love, found in a town called Faithful. This is the author’s first full length novel.
Annette makes her home in Nashville, TN with her husband Neal, a pharmacist, and their dog, Eddie. When they are not working or traveling, they enjoy their grandson, Hudson.
Her future projects include more children books, and a historical novel spanning the 1920’s to current times.
